The following is part of the eulogy read by Hasebe Gakuji at the funeral of Mayuyama Junkichi.
"Mr. Mayuyama, as we think back on all of your activities and accomplishments, we grieve deeply as we feel the loss of your inimitable self. May you rest in peace, bathed in the light of the sun, under the celadon sky as it emerges after the rain.
